Job Description
Job Title: Site Superintendent Commercial Construction
Location: Pewaukee WI
Employment Type: Full-Time On-Site Direct Hire
We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead and manage commercial construction projects from mobilization through completion. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who can confidently supervise site operations manage subcontractors and ensure all work is performed to the highest safety quality and timeline standards. The projects span various sectors including industrial office retail institutional and religious facilities.
Key Responsibilities-
Interpret and implement design documents construction drawings and shop drawings.

Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site and manage all phases of work.

Direct and coordinate subcontractors ensuring performance aligns with project goals and deadlines.

Lead project meetings including pre-installation and weekly progress reviews.

Prepare and manage 3-week look-ahead schedules identifying sequencing and milestone alignment.

Coordinate labor equipment materials and deliveries to ensure project continuity.

Resolve job site challenges using creative problem-solving and available resources.

Maintain effective communication with owners architects engineers and internal project teams.

Ensure all safety protocols and OSHA standards are followed on-site.

Manage job site documentation including daily logs safety toolbox talks and photo records.

Minimum 5 years of experience supervising commercial construction projects.

Proven ability to manage subcontractors and construction schedules effectively.

Demonstrated leadership and conflict-resolution skills on active job sites.

Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail across multiple tasks.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with diverse stakeholders.

Proficient in reading construction documents and coordinating field execution accordingly.
