About the Dedicated Aide Role:
We are looking for talented Dedicated Aides who bring an unwavering commitment to helping early childhood students succeed. KIPP DCs early childhood teachers are responsible for using Tools of The Mind Fishtank and Eureka Squared curriculums to deliver effective highquality rigorous instruction that produces academic results and student growth. KIPP DC gives its early childhood students an intensive foundation in the core academic subjects through playbased learning instruction and an emphasis on developing the social and emotional skills necessary to succeed in school and life. The KIPP DC community holds itself to high standards cognizant that success can be achieved by all through teamwork tenacity and focused dedication.
The Dedicated Aide supports a student with special needs throughout the school day by making the curriculum and daily activities accessible for the student. The Dedicated Aide will be trained in SafetyCare to best support students throughout the day and will report directly to the school leader.
