ROLE SUMMARY
The Commercial Planning team plays an integral role within our Sales Intelligence department by interpreting performance datawith analytical takeaways and providing recommendations around futurelooking forecasts. It is a highly visible position working closelywith senior leaders of the organization to manage and proactively develop insightdriven actions to close any potential gaps. This role will be responsible for leading the commercial planning function for the Prairies market (including Alberta Manitoba and Saskatchewan). They provide regular updates to senior managementon the state of the business and give recommendations on future strategic actions to optimize volumeand market share results.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads weekly monthly annual and longterm Forecasting for Regional Sales Team in the Prairies; including Volume & Market Share forecasting
Manages key regional stakeholders involved in Forecasting process including but not limited to the Regional Vice President of Sales Regional Key Account Managers Regional Sales Teams
Incorporates routine deep dive and ad hoc analysis to inform their outlook on future performance
Proactively identifies potential gaps between forecasted plans vs actual performance to recommend new action plans to mitigate or eliminate potential performance gaps
Analyzes impact of sales & marketing performance drivers: distribution displays features space price dynamics brand health media spend to develop insights & recommendations
Transforms insights into recommendations to through simple visual and actionoriented deliverables that drives common understanding and aligns stakeholders
Liaises regularly with key cross functional partners including but not limited to Revenue Management S&OP Demand Planning Innovations teams

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
University Degree in Business or related field preferred
4 years in business analytics preferrably within CPG industry
Work well independently with limited supervision and with tight timelines
Strong planning time management and stakeholder management skills
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerBI is a must
Communication skills be persuasive and can build strong relationships
