The Sales Development Representative plays a critical role in the companys sales process by interacting with potential customers Account Executives and presales technical support to identify demand and coordinate stakeholders for qualified meetings.
A successful SDR will be able to apply companys Sales Methodology to quickly gain interest from customers on our core offerings with Microsoft and Enterprise Licensing Management and see them through the firsttime quote process and ultimately when the customer reaches the New Buying Account threshold. This role is built around team selling requiring ongoing feedback and knowledge sharing within your territory to hone your skills and maximize your impact on increasing NBAs.
Please note this role supports our US West teams and working hours may vary to align with PST/MST time zones.
What youll do:
- Maintain a selfstarter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
- Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads
- Support senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
- Attend focused solutions and product training to develop an understanding of companys capabilities
- Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and followup with the Account Executives
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
- Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting
Requirements
- 34 years of experience in sales lead generation and cold calling
- Flawless communication skills both written and oral with extensive public speaking experience
- Working knowledge of the enterprise software market or the ability to learn new software quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member making outbound calls every day
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
- Have experience using Zoominfo LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of deadend leads
- Must be an excellent problemsolver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
- You love closing deals using complex market research and focusing on continued learning and improvement
- Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects
