Job Description:
We are seeking an Antitrust & Competition Counsel to join our Regulatory Compliance and Competition team. In this role you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel on antitrust matters including counseling merger control and litigation support. This position offers the opportunity to work with leading clients across various industries advising on complex competition and compliance issues.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting reviewing and negotiating contracts and agreements with antitrust implications.
- Providing legal guidance on Section 1 and Section 2 antitrust issues including monopoly abuse tying exclusivity MFNs and information sharing.
- Counseling on merger control issues including analysis and filings.
- Collaborating with clients and crossfunctional teams on antitrust strategy regulatory compliance and mergerrelated transactions.
- Supporting clients with antitrust litigation preparation and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in antitrust law including counseling merger control and contract review.
- Detailed knowledge of U.S. antitrust laws and principles including Section 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
- Proven ability to advise on vertical and horizontal issues laborrelated antitrust concerns and regulatory risks.
- Excellent communication negotiation technology and problemsolving skills.
- Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with merger analysis and regulatory filings.
- Familiarity with crossborder antitrust issues is a plus.
- Strong counseling experience in preventative compliance strategies and investigations.
- Litigation background in antitrust matters is helpful though not required.
Compensation Benefits & Location:
This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $160000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits 401K and more.
