Senior Corporate / Company Commercial Solicitor - Yorkshire
Board-Level Opportunity
Hybrid working Full-time Strategic leadership role
The Opportunity
Were working in partnership with a well-established forward-thinking Yorkshire law firm to recruit a Senior Corporate or Company Commercial Solicitor. This is a key strategic hire for the business with a clear route to a Board-level position for the right individual.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and entrepreneurial solicitor to take ownership of a broad range of high-quality corporate matters play a central role in shaping the firms future and join an inclusive leadership team committed to growth innovation and client care.

The Role
You will lead on a range of corporate matters including:
Share and asset sales and acquisitions (500k20m)
Company restructuring and shareholder agreements
EMI share option schemes and investment work
Corporate governance director support and advisory
General corporate support to long-standing clients
The firm also has a strong presence in the technology sector so exposure to commercial/tech-related legal work (e.g. data protection IP SaaS agreements) is welcomed but not essential. Future recruitment is planned for this area and youll have input on team growth and structure.
What Were Looking For
An experienced Corporate Solicitor with strong technical and transactional skills
Confident managing matters independently and providing strategic advice to clients
Commercially-minded with proven ability to develop client relationships and contribute to business development
Comfortable supporting and mentoring junior team members
Some familiarity with non-sector-specific commercial work would be useful
Location
Offices are based in Harrogate Leeds and York and youll be expected to work across at least two of these locations as needed. Hybrid/flexible working is available with strong infrastructure to support agile working practices.
