Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
SC certification in Instrumental Music
Knowledge of effective instructional techniques for band students
Band directing experience preferred
Experience in all areas of band instruction (marching concert jazz ensemble and other instrumental instruction) preferred
Ability to work with booster club parents different organizations and fellow teachers
Excellent public relations skills
Outstanding references from current/former supervisors
Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report
Salary Range: Teacher Salary Schedule
Length of Contract: 210 days
Starting Date:School Year
College transcripts three references and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process.
