The APAC Stores FP&A team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join our consumer business in Australia. You will lead the overall FP&A function for the Singapore Stores and play a critical role in the business decision making process through driving key operating mechanisms and delivering relevant insights and analysis objectively. You will also drive continuous improvements to our processes especially through automation as we scale the business. The successful candidate will be a selfstarter who is comfortable with ambiguity is analytical detail oriented and will possess the ability to work well with crossfunctional teams.
Key job responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include:
Drive weekly monthly and quarterly mechanisms to support delivery of business goals
Lead planning and reporting cycles with leadership teams
Deliver insights and analysis objectively to support decision making process using relevant data and benchmarks
Gatekeeper for integrity and accuracy of Amazons data across various financial databases
Identify and drive opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes
Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field
4 years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Experience in financial modeling P&L management or analysis
Excellent attention to detail takes ownership of your work to deliver results strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
