Job Description
Hogan Lovells US LLP is searching for a patent agent who is excited to work on cuttingedge technology for the worlds top tech companies. The right candidate will be as comfortable working on rocket engines and satellite technology as they are working on the next generation of neural networks automation and robotics. We are looking for someone with the technical chops to be able to discuss details with engineers and developers but also the confidence to interact with wellknown giants in the tech world. The position will involve a significant amount of direct partner and client interaction and unique opportunities that come from working for a truly global law firm. We do not micromanage if you make the cut that means we trust you to handle the job and will give you every opportunity to step up and run with it.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and be available to sit in our San Francisco Silicon Valley Houston or Washington D.C. offices. Applicants must have a degree in electrical engineering computer engineering applied physics computer science or equivalent experience. Registration to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office is required.
Compensation for this role will be topofmarket with an annualized salary range of $125000 to $250000 for patent agents and staff attorneys depending on the candidates overall experience and other jobrelated factors permitted by law. This position may be eligible for a discretionary or an hoursbased bonus consistent with market practice. In addition this position will be eligible for the firms fringe benefits as they currently exist.
