We are seeking highly experienced and clientfocused applicants to join our Trust team as a Director Trust Administration. In this role you will manage an existing portfolio of highnetworth client relationships with complex trust and investment management accounts. You will administer accountsconsistent with sound fiduciary principles and within the established risk framework of theorganization while delivering an exceptional client experience. This is a seniorlevel rolerequiring in depth knowledge of trust administration estate planning concepts and fiduciaryprinciples along with the skills and desire to proactively grow the business.
Additional Job Description
Work as part of a Client Strategy Team or serve as the primary relationship manager to provideexpert fiduciary administration for an existing portfolio of trust and investment managementaccounts.
Ensure that all accounts are administered in accordance with governing instruments internalprocedures and applicable laws and regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients beneficiaries and next generation to meettheir financial and estate planning needs.
Work collaboratively with internal colleagues from Investments WM Legal Trust Real Estate &Special Assets and Trust Tax to address risk issues ensure effective administration and deliverintegrated client solutions.
Partner and communicate with clients beneficiaries cotrustees trust protectors externalcounsel and other individuals associated with the administration of fiduciary accounts.
Responsible for the driving the profitability and growth of the Trust Discipline consistent withestablished strategic goals and priorities.
Maintain appropriate contact with clients and beneficiaries through regular contact to serviceneeds effectively mitigate risks and deepen existing relationships with the next generation.
Develop and maintain expertise as a subjectmatter expert in the area of estate planning andpersonal trust administration to serve as an internal resource to elevate and grow existing clientrelationships.
Actively participate in business development activities including identifying opportunities toexpand existing relationships and attract new clients.
Stay current on changes in trust and tax law and estate planning trends to provide proactiveguidance to clients.
Mentor and support less seasoned team members fostering a culture of collaboration andexcellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related field; JD preferred.
Minimum of 5 7 years of relevant experience in trust administration estate planning or wealthmanagement.
Strong knowledge of fiduciary principles trust laws and estate planning strategies.
Professional designations such as CTFA CFP or CPA are highly desirable.
Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
Strong analytical organization and problemsolving abilities.

$90000.00 $167000.00Pay Type:
SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location skills experience education and qualifications for the role and may include a commission structure. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position.
