Job Overview
The Coordinator of Behavior Support focuses is responsible for providing ongoing support and technical assistance to schools leaders and elementary Behavior Resource Teachers with a focus on preventing and addressing challenging behaviors through proactive strategies. The Behavior Support Coordinator designs and delivers high quality professional learning at both the school and division levels leads the school division in coordinating the implementation and scaling of tiered levels of behavioral support and analyzes data for program evaluation. The Coordinator of Behavior Support will lead and support the elementary Behavior Resource Teachers in supporting classroom teachers and providing direct intervention support to general education students.
This position is assigned to the Department of Student Services Office of Diagnostic and Prevention Services as a member of the MultiTiered System of Support (MTSS) team.
