McKessons Corporate Strategy & Business Development (CSBD) strategic innovation arm Strategic Innovation & Business Development (SIBD) is seeking to add an intrapreneurial resultsdriven Senior Manager Strategic Innovation & Business Development. This individual will support the identification design and launch of innovations that drive meaningful value to McKessons core supply chain and distribution businesses across the enterprise. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong strategic thinking a collaborative mindset and a passion for innovation and driving results. The Senior Manager will report directly to the Senior Director Strategic Innovation & Business Development.
Position Description
- Lead the ideation and development of innovative solutions: Conduct stakeholder interviews market research and competitive analysis to identify and prioritize new growth opportunities
- Design and implement pilot programs: Develop project scope design proof of concepts and collaborate with internal and external partners to launch and test innovative initiatives
- Build compelling business cases: Conduct rigorous financial analysis and develop persuasive investment pitches to secure budget for promising projects
- Oversee project implementation and collaboration: Manage project timelines resources and budgets ensuring successful and achievement of key milestones in a crossfunctional environment
- Monitor and analyze performance: Track key performance indicators develop dashboards and present datadriven insights to senior leadership
- Champion a culture of innovation: Foster collaboration knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in management consulting product management and innovation or other strategy and innovation experience in a corporate or startup environment
- Prior experience in market analysis competitive intelligence financial analysis and insights development
- Healthcare and/or data and technology experience preferred but not required
- Must be authorized to work in the US

- Passion for innovation: Strong passion for innovation emerging technology and analytics across the healthcare ecosystem proactively identifying opportunities to implement innovations
- Strategic thinking: Ability to drive complex company customer and market analyses and identify critical pieces of information for making decisions and moving the work forward
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate complex information in an easytounderstand persuasive manner both verbally and in writing
- Collaboration and stakeholder management: Ability to develop rapport and credibility across the organization to become a trusted partner for collaboration
- Willingness to learn: Thirst for knowledge ability to quickly become the expert in new subject areas and open to coaching and feedback for growth within the company
Education
- Must have4year Bachelors degree
- Advanced degree preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
General office demands
Occasional travel approximately 1020
Preference for candidates located in the following locations: DallasFort Worth (TX) or Boston (MA). Open to consideration for remote candidates.
