ROLE SUMMARY
The Director Specialty Access Solutions is accountable for supporting and leading patient access and support for the I&I/Pfizer Rhu/GI portfolio and additional potential launches within I&I.
This position will ensure the efficient operation of select Pfizer I&I product access services and patient support programs (i.e. Hubs Copay and other appropriate offerings) and the efficient design build and operation of potential future assets in the I&I space. This role will also own the development of strategies of access/service tactics vendor management innovation and coordination with appropriate stakeholders to align to brand strategy all with the focus on optimizing access to Rhu/GI/I&I therapies and the ownership of the appropriate patient experience from prescription through fulfillment.
This position will partner closely with the brand teams (HCP Patient and Access Integration) field reimbursement teams legal external vendors Global Health & Social Impact and US Market Access (USMA) colleagues who support the I&I business. This position is accountable and essential to ensuring all PFE engagements and programs are undertaken in a compliant manner adhering to Pfizer policies and individual must embrace Pfizers Blueprint and core principles of Trust is Everything Science will Win Disruption Calls for Innovation Time is Life and Makes the Difference.
In addition the Director Specialty Access Solutions will be assigned to lead and/or assist in the development and of adhoc and I&I/PFE projects programs and Hub offerings outside of their daytoday responsibilities as needed.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Lead and/or support specific initiatives in the development implementation and maintenance of Patient Access/Hub services including:
- Serve as the subject matter expert to lead the development innovation and evolution of the Pfizer I&I Hub and patient support program strategies
- Lead and support the development of the access strategic and tactical plans for the Rhu/GI brands
- Lead the and maintenance of patient access services
- Lead and manage the Hub/reimbursement services and vendor engagement
- Lead RFP selection process (if required)
- Direct and lead patient service enhancements and initiatives
- Own budget development and management: Recommend funding/budget requirements and manage dedicated brand dollars to access and patient support initiatives
- Negotiate and execute contracts with key thirdparty vendors to ensure we achieve cost effectiveness
- Lead coordination with Pfizer Digital and monitoring of Polaris data feed accuracy and availability
- Continually innovate by identifying developing and executing patient support services that help appropriate patients access and stay on their prescribed therapy
- Coordinate with Channel Management (CM) Specialty Access Solutions (SAS) and USMA colleagues on initiatives with the SPP distribution network specialty payers and crossenterprise synergies
- Appropriately liaise with brand teams field sales organization and other crossfunctional colleagues as required
- Integrate and manage new approaches and technology to increase efficacy and patient engagement
- Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities to improve all stages of the post Rx patient journey
Ensure compliance with Pfizers SOPs and BRDs (Business Rules Document) and service quality of the Hub including:
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with PFE policy
- Accountable for key operations metrics and conducting reviews with vendors. Provide leadership to improve operations and leverage organization synergies.
- Hub services quality assurance monitoring and remediation
- Partner with appropriate stakeholders to monitor Hub vendor key performance indicators physician office satisfaction and field force satisfaction
Development/codevelopment of key tactical elements
- Development of patient access services content collateral printing distribution and field communications
- Lead the review and approval of appropriate materials through the Review Committee (RC) process.
Lead appropriate data integration and reporting initiatives including:
- Ability to develop and integrate market insights and analytics into access/services strategies and tactics
- Lead ad hoc research projects to derive insights
- Identify key Hub performance indicators and monitor performance data
- Colead Periodic Business Reviews (PBR) with key PFE stakeholders
- Lead key adhoc business reviews with USMA and brand LT
- Hub SPP data feeds and onboarding coordination with SAS colleagues as appropriate
Coordinate and lead CSP compliance and auditing initiatives
- Execute the Annual Hub Audit Check List
- Coordinate audits with Hub vendors as required including coordination with external and internal auditors
- Lead CSP registration training and YRR requirements for Hub Copay and other key patient support programs
- Produce relevant reports associated with the above activities as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of external stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
- Bachelors Degree minimum required
- 8 years required of pharmaceutical experience in market access Hub specialty pharmacy reimbursement services or marketing roles
- Strong project management skills and experience
- A high attention to detail with a customer service orientation is highly desired
- Knowledge of Hubs and payer intermediaries for specialty products
- Understanding of reimbursement dynamics given multiple sitesofcare
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Leadership experience

- Understanding the patient needs/services and the patient journey through Hub and Specialty Pharmacy is highly preferred

- Experience in marketing payer marketing specialty pharmacy strategic and tactical planning and business analytics a plus
- MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169700.00 to $282900.00.* In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0 of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
