Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst Construction & Property Admin assists in the reporting of capital projects and programs from a budget forecast and reporting aspect to support the Construction and Properties department. This role will provide guidance and aid to multiple business segments. This position will also participate in crossfunctional capital projects with internal CVS departments.

Primary duties include annual capital budgeting monthly forecasting department reporting of actuals and maintaining and enhancing where necessary the departments financial database tools. Additional duties include business analytics and adhoc analysis.

Job responsibilities

  • Work with various business segments both internal and external groups to develop the departments capital operating budget plan tied to Enterprise initiatives and support of the existing store base and business initiatives.

  • Act as liaison with IT group to monitor and track IT labor project expenses

  • Preparation of Aetna construction invoice documentation for cross company posting and payment

  • Assist in the preparation of business case and financial benefits development and cash flow analysis related to department programs initiatives and capital projects

  • Audit purchase order coding to ensure compliance with GAAP as it pertains to construction or FFE activity

  • Assist in the development of quarterly and year end capital accruals

  • Support multiple department managers with accrual forecast and budget requirements

  • Various business analytics as needed

  • Review and approve department capex retail store invoices utilizing Service Channel and retail corporate invoices and tracking

  • Assist in adhoc analysis including monthly quarterly and annual reporting


Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in corporate budgeting or similar financial reporting field

  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Ability to work hybrid at Woonsocket RI


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate across many levels of the organization

  • Attention to detail ability to acquire new skills is essential

  • Ability to work independently and work in a team environment is

  • Knowledge of S4/HANA Financial platform preferred

  • Knowledge of Anaplan Financial planning preferred

  • Knowledge of Access Tableau or Power BI

  • Presentation development and skills

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46988.00 $112200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
