THE OPPORTUNITYThe City is seeking an innovative and customerfocused Community Development Director to join its newest City Manager in leading and shaping the future of the City of South Pasadena. This executive role offers a unique opportunity to drive strategic planning economic development and neighborhood revitalization of an evolving city while ensuring smart growth sustainability and historic preservation.
The Community Development Director is a key member of the Citys leadership team responsible for overseeing the Planning and Community Development Department which includes planning building arts and economic development and code enforcement.
Qualifications
Education
A bachelors degree in urban planning public/business administration or a related field.
Experience
A minimum of five years of progressive experience in municipal planning economic development or housing administration including two years in an executivelevel role.A Masters degree is preferred.Additional Information
