The Laboratory Staff Scheduler reports to the Supervisor Laboratory Staff Scheduling or designate. Utilizing a variety of specialized computer software applications and working in a time sensitive deadline driven environment the Laboratory Staff Scheduler functions as a frontline member of the Lab Services team by scheduling leaves and allocating relief for noncontract and bargaining unit staff. These scheduling activities are done in accordance with established processes policies and procedures and as directed by applicable Scheduling Unit Guidelines Island Health Standard Interpretation Guidelines and applicable Collective Agreements.
Grade 12 and three years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
