We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the Global CS Finance Team for the Digital and Device products category (D2 including Echo Kindle eReaders FireTV Amazon Video Gaming Music Alexa Voice Services and more. This position reports to the Sr. Finance Manager of the organization. The pace and growth of the business along with its increasing complexity makes this role an exciting interesting and very challenging proposition. Key Responsibilities: Regional responsibility for OPEX planning including full year and outlook planning month end analysis and commentary and ad hoc work for Variable and Fixed costs as well as global headcount Own relationship with contact forecasting team Headcount capacity planning teams Business Partnering with Technical Support Operations leadership Point of contact for reporting of Costs Contacts and Units for several Product Lines explaining the cost drivers and providing variance analyses to those product line finance teams Collecting analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful actionable reports to drive business improvement and cost reduction Work closely with the central finance teams on common approaches and timelines Key team member of Customer Service Finance team that contributes to the development of financial planning and analysis tools and Finance Planning & Analysis processes that impact the global strategy
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience BA or BS in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math Computer Science) and 5 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 3 years of finance experience
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience 6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience MBA or CPA Knowledge of SQL/ETL Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards) Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results
