Job Description
Job Title:
Equipment Coordinator
Location:
Lombard IL. This position will follow a hybrid workfromhome/office model with at least three days in the office weekly
Role Summary:
Works to deliver on daytoday objectives with limited to some impact on
achievement of results for the job area. Work consists of tasks that are highly routine under supervision. Ensures assets are positioned appropriately to satisfy customer demand maintains equipment balance and works with vendors such as depots truckers and terminals. Ensures equipment flows and match back planning meets regional and global needs. Manages shipper pool activities where applicable. Monitors aging and executes plans to minimize aging containers where applicable. Monitors and ensures empty lift plan is achieved. Ensures adherence within empty allocation at terminals/depots.
Additional Responsibilities:
Ability to draw upon 2 years of industry experience in an intermodal capacity and 2 years experience in equipment control on a regional level. Possess a proven track record in meeting departmental performance metrics. Experience overseeing expenditures exceeding $annually is a plus.

Inland logistics intermodal and port knowledge
Demonstrates proficiency in Google Suite Applications including formulas and macros
Strong service orientation and troubleshooting skills
Required Minimum Years Experience:
23 years industry experience transportation equipment experiences preferred
Required Minimum Education:
Highschool diploma/GED Required
