As an HR Assist Specialist youll play a crucial role in managing human resources enquiries and delivering highquality support within the Universitys HR Shared Services function. Youll leverage your extensive HR expertise to address complex tasks provide operational solutions and collaborate with key stakeholders across the university. This role offers you the opportunity to shape HR practices drive continuous improvement and contribute to the seamless delivery of HR services in a dynamic academic environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver Comprehensive HR Services: Manage complex enquiries execute HR tasks and ensure effective service delivery across the University
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify enhancement opportunities and implement process improvements to elevate customer service experience
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with HR Business Partners Centres of Excellence and other teams to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Provide Expert Guidance: Act as an escalation point offering highlevel support and subject matter expertise in HR practices and systems

You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced HR professional with a strong background in shared services possessing excellent problemsolving skills stakeholder management abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement in HR service delivery.

You may also:

  • Have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of experience and education in HR
  • Possess significant experience working in a highvolume HR shared services environment
  • Demonstrate strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have experience with HR information systems such as ServiceNow Oracle and Workday
  • Show a proven ability to influence stakeholders and provide expert advice on HR policies and processes
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills and experience in managing or supervising staff
