Job Description
We are looking for an talented and passionate Casual Chef De Partie to join the PLG team at Stoneys Club in Bacchus Marsh. Youll have the opportunity to manage a designated kitchen section supervise junior staff and assist the team with menu development.
Stoneys is located in beautiful Bacchus Marsh Victoria approximately 50km west of Melbourne. Set on the edge of the Werribee River the hotel captures the tranquility of the towns traditional relaxed garden market character.

What will my duties include
Maintaining control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in allocated sections.
Assist with the induction of new employees when required.
Maintain professional relationships with external supplies.
Prepare and cook menu as per cooking guidelines and set standards.
Work in conjunction with the head chef to develop and implement a menu.
Ensure all staff follow safety procedures.
What we are looking for:
Hold a Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Food Handlers Certificate.
Experience working in a pub/bistro fastpaced environment.
Wellversed in all kitchen areas with handson experience.
Ability to follow and give directions when required.
Willingness to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
