Job Description
The Amazon Prime Video marketing team is looking for a talented and passionate Sr. Art Director to create worldclass campaigns for our growing slate of original programming.
Working in close collaboration with Creative Directors Art Directors Campaign Managers and Producers you will help us build creative advertising campaigns and establish the unique look and feel of some of our biggest properties from key art to OOH digital social partnerships and more.
Sr. Art Directors at Prime Video are makers who excel at visual communication; they are masters at all practical aspects of messaging an idea using images. A successful Sr. Art Director will be able to participate in brainstorms with Creative Directors Show Leads and other critical stakeholders and translate feedback into visuals to drive campaign ideation. In this role you will be designing as a handson artist creating comps concept pitch decks and breakouts with Adobe creative suite applications as your main tool.
Key job responsibilities
Create Key Art with the oversight and vision of a Creative Director to be adapted and thoughtfully carried across OOH Social & Digital in a 360 campaign approach.
Bring strategic thinking into the ideation and comping processes.
Guide and direct Art Directors with feedback and inputs.
Participate in briefing and ideation phase create phenomenal key art and/or motion concepts knowledge of both worlds a plus.
Lead visual design in the creative process from brainstorms through design phase to delivery.
Design worldclass visual creative concepts for high profile titles across TV Film and Brand for Prime Video.
Follow guidance from Creative Directors and receives input from internal stakeholders.
Leverage datadriven customer insights and deep knowledge of formats and placements to make creative decisions.
Be on the pulse of current and emerging trends in interactive technology and design.
Be able to direct talent and photographers at a Photoshoot.
5 years of driving compelling creative strategy and at an agency or inhouse creative team experience
Bachelors degree
Knowledge of typography design principles trends and best practices across digital and print
Knowledge of InDesign Photoshop Illustrator Keynote
Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
An online available portfolio heavily skewed towards Key Art Design
Experience developing crossfunctional relationships with product consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
Experience managing creative (internal team of designers copywriters external agencies and freelancers)
Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
8 years of driving compelling creative strategy and at an agency or inhouse creative team experience
Ability to think strategically but can also execute tactically

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
