About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to influence and manage the Local AuthoritysEarly Years Continuous Professional Development (CPD) offer for early years practitioners in Nottingham city.

As Childcare Workforce Development Manager you will lead the development promotion coordination and monitoring of the Early Years and Childcare Workforce Development strategy and associated continuous professional development opportunities.

With a secure knowledge of early years and childcare national policies you will work with the Early Years team and other associated partners to plan market and deliver training programmes which are responsive to demand and current and emerging need.

You will commission negotiate and manage training contracts and take lead responsibility for associated financial systems and processes; reporting course evaluation participation and progress towards income generation targets to the team and senior leaders.

The ideal candidate will have:

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
