The Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC) seeks a motivated and qualified individual for the Curriculum Designer (Human Resources Consultant 3 position. This role is within the Executive Division Human Resources Unit and is based out of our Tumwater Office.

About the Position

We are excited to announce an opening for a Curriculum Designer to join our small closeknit and highly collaborative team at The OIC. As a Curriculum Designer you will play a key role in designing developing and delivering engaging highquality training programs courses and materials that directly contribute to the ongoing success of our workforce. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and team members to create innovative learning experiences that are aligned with our agencys goals and the needs of our diverse staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design and adult learning principles with the ability to create learning solutions that are both engaging and effective. This role requires a creative thinker who can take complex concepts and break them down into accessible engaging learning experiences. As part of a small teamoriented unit you will work in a supportive environment where every team members contributions are valued and your ideas and insights will directly impact the success of our training initiatives.

This is a Washington General Service position. The monthly salary range for this position is $5501 $7400.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Six 6 years fulltime equivalent professional experience in instructional design and curriculum development for adult learners including creating broadbased professional adult training experiences (e.g. classroom eLearns simulations videos and learning paths).

AND


A bachelors degree with focus on training organizational development adult learning human resources social or organizational behavioral sciences or related field from an accredited institution whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council of Higher Education Accreditation or a foreign equivalent will substitute for four years of professional experience.
