Every purchase and donation at the ReStore supports the mission of Lexington Habitat for Humanity to build homes communities and hope. Our ReStore Associates support this mission by providing retail customer service and assisting with the receiving and processing of donated items.
Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:
All ReStore Associates have key responsibilities inall of the following areas and will be crosstrained as such. This job includes:
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist ReStore customers and providecustomers withapositiveshopping experience.
- Inform customers of ReStore pricing policies.
- Assist with placing donations and merchandise on the sales floor.
- Help maintain a clean and presentable ReStore.
- Perform cashier duties (and complete cashier training).
- Assist customers in loading purchases.
- Support and followall safety and security policiesand practices.
- Provide training and supervision to volunteersregarding sales floor functionsas needed.
- Complete customer service training program.
Warehouse/Donation Processing/Merchandising:
- Moveprocessand preparedonations for placement on sales floor.
- Greet donors and provide donors with a positive donation experience.
- Receive donations from donors including assistingwith removing donations out of donors vehicles.
- Movedonations from warehouse to sales floor.
- Assist with keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
- Price donated items in accordance with pricing guidelines.
- Provide training and supervision to volunteersregarding warehouse functionsas needed.
- Complete warehouse training program.
Pickup Service (Occasional Opportunity for Training)
- Assist with safely moving items out of donors homes and into the ReStore truck(s).
- Act as an ambassador for Habitat and our mission in the community.
- Provide donors with quality customer service and ensure a positive donation experience.
- Assist withenroute navigation and communications to donors.
- Contact logistics team members as directed to communicate key information during the truck routes
- Completepickupservice training program.
General Expectations
- Adhere to all safety protocols and communicate safety concerns to team members donors customers and volunteers.
- Communicate with team members in apositive constructive manner.
- Demonstrate the willingness andflexibilityto work in any area (showroom warehouse trucks) as needed.
