Job Description

At West Coast Supply Group we move fast we scale globally and we do business with purpose. As we continue to grow were looking for a 3PL Sales Managerto lead the charge in our logistics sales department someone whos strategic peoplesavvy and resultsdriven.

Your Role at West Coast

As our 3PL Sales Manager youll be at the centre of our commercial logistics operations driving sales strengthening partnerships and leading a highperforming team in one of the most critical areas of our business. Youll have the unique opportunity to shape and scale the 3PL sales strategy in alignment with our broader company goals ensuring we stay ahead in a fastmoving competitive market.

Your role combines strategic thinking with handson . Youll build and maintain strong relationships with key clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities that contribute to longterm growth. As a trusted partner to both internal and external stakeholders youll ensure that sales processes are running smoothly efficiently and always with a focus on excellence.

Beyond managing accounts youll be a coach and motivator guiding your team toward success with clear objectives smart planning and continuous development. Youll foster a culture of ownership and collaboration where your team feels empowered to perform innovate and grow.

In this role youll collaborate closely with departments like Finance Operations and HR to ensure smooth across the board. Your insight will also help shape companywide decisions especially when it comes to improving service delivery customer satisfaction and financial performance.

What Youll Do

Market and Sales Management

  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends and opportunities focusing on maintaining and expanding business relationships to support departmental growth.
  • Oversee key accounts manage several client relationships directly attract new business opportunities and ensure the smooth handover of accounts to team members.
  • Monitor and optimize the sales pipeline to ensure effective tracking forecasting and achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop and implement a clear sales strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Create and execute detailed sales plans to align activities with strategic objectives and optimize team efficiency.

Financial Oversight

  • Maintain accurate records of debtors and creditors ensuring timely followups and financial accountability.
  • Manage customer payment terms and oversee the approval and processing of sales credit notes in collaboration with the finance team.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead the sales team by setting performance objectives providing coaching and driving continuous improvement to meet and exceed departmental targets.
  • Provide leadership to the sales team fostering a positive and collaborative work environment while supporting professional growth and skill development.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing in the team in liaison with the Recruitment and HR department.

Compliance and Legal Adherence

  • Ensure that the team adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements relevant to sales operations

What you bring

  • Bachelors degree (economics or related).
  • 5 years of sales experience preferably in a logistics/3PL setting.
  • Proven team leadership in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of logistics processes sales channels and financial flows.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English you communicate clearly confidently and effectively.
  • A sharp commercial mind strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial spirit.
