The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Northern Region Highways & Aviation is looking for a Full Time NonPermanent Equipment Operator SubJourney 1 to help us
Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing:
Equipment Operator Sub Journey 1:
- Operate lightduty ground motorized equipment and Stateowned pickup trucks for various maintenance functions.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs at multiple wayside/rest stop facilities in the Tok District.
- Engage in various manual labor tasks including cleaning culverts cutting vegetation picking up litter patching potholes and loading and unloading equipment and supplies from trucks.
- Loading and unloading equipment and supplies from trucks.
- Assist in the installation repair and/or replacement of permanent traffic signs.
- Carry out traffic control duties including flagging for safety.
- Ensure public safety and maintain a clean and welcoming environment for the community.

This FullTime NonPermanent position is based in Cantwell Alaska. Expect a dynamic fastpaced environment with diverse responsibilities and conditions.
