The responsibilities of Senior Infrastructure Technical Lead SQL are as below:

• Participate in SQL projects operational support and consultancy to provide SQL database solutions and services to the business application and peer technical teams.
• Working for UNITE programs projects initiatives to fulfill business requirements
• Play a key role of SQLaaS to advocate DPSs policy and services/standards.
• Installation and configuration of SQL server components (SSDB SSIS SSRS SSAS)
• Thorough handson experience with High Availability deployment of SSDB SSIS SSRS SSAS
• Scripting and Automation using PowerShell and TSQL
• Troubleshooting Performance Tuning and Problem Solving
• Work on SQL server projects Configuration Migration and Decommissioning legacy system
• Liaise with Infrastructure project managers and other key stake holders to perform project tasks including DR testings.
• Deliver expertiselevel MSSQL (SME) services to our business and other group technology team
• Provide consultancy to project works that related to SQL Servers as part of infrastructure services and solutions.

What do I need

This is a very technical role & handson. A deep understanding of the Microsoft SQL Server fleet is required to assist projects and implementation teams. Excellent communication is key due to the nature of engagement with senior stake holders. Service Provider mindset is essential to take the lead of resolving and progressing on project challenges.

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills experience education and/or expertise:

• Participate in SQL projects as senior technical lead consultancy to provide database solutions and services to the business application and peer technical teams.
• Installation and configuration of SQL server components (SSDB SSIS SSRS SSAS)
• Thorough handson experience with High Availability deployment of SSDB SSIS SSRS and SSAS
• Scripting and Automation using CMD PowerShell and TSQL
• Extensive experience in Troubleshooting Performance Tuning and problem solving
• Strong knowledge of Server OS network storage and software roadmaps.
• Excellent understanding of ITIL concept and procedures such as Incident and Change management in finance sector.
• Outstanding communication skills: The MSSQL DBA must interface with the enduser community. Excellent communications skills is key to the success of this role
• Advanced level proficiency in SQL Database Maintenance Analytical skills Database Encryption Database Migration SSL certificates Windows OS Windows clusters and multi subnet Configuration refreshing/ cloning with TDE Backup & recovery concepts Database Design and Reviews Capacity planning Monitoring
