Job Summary/Description:
Western Mass News (ABC 40 CBS3 Fox6 is seeking an organized resourceful detailoriented individual to provide administrative support to our sales team. Qualified candidates must be able to assist with all aspects of sales to help achieve maximum bookings. Successful candidates should have a positive attitude excellent time management and organizational and communication skills combined with proven skills with Microsoft Office products. (M. E. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist the Director of Sales and Sales Staff with their daily duties.
Assist in the development of sales proposals marketing materials reports and client presentations.
Coordinate digital ads and upload them to the platform.
Efficiently work with the team/management to deliver a high level of service.
Create digital reports and track digital campaigns.
Track progress on various sales initiatives.
Assist in the handling of resolving billing discrepancies.
Ability to perform at a high level multitask efficiently and meet deadlines in this fastpaced environment.
Input and maintain select orders for Account Executives including revisions.
Other duties as assigned.
This position will also be designed to be a training program with a path to becoming a Media Executive (salesperson) after 1year in the position. Applicants must be willing to transition into a Media Executive position within 1year.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Strong computer skills with attention to detail is essential
Functional knowledge of Word/Excel/Outlook
Ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently
Proficient communication skills
Work independently and manage time effectively
Knowledge of WideOrbit software is a plus but willing to train
