Job Description
The Payroll Coordinator reports to the Payroll Supervisor and Director of Accounting and Payroll and is responsible for processing payroll for both hourly and salary employees through an outsourced payroll system. Specific Responsibilities: Managing timesheet information daily for errors and variances. Communicating with employees and supervisors regarding the approval of timesheets. Processing of a biweekly multistate payroll. Communicating with Human Resources for current employee updates within the payroll system. Process Payroll Adjustment forms and specialized pay schedules Reconciling reporting to each payroll to ensure all changes are reflected in the payroll. Processing and reissuing returned ACH funds. Addressing and resolving payroll questions from staff faculty and student workers. Preparing payroll reports reports as needed. Support Payroll Supervisor in all aspects of payroll processing.

Required Qualifications
Equivalent Education/Experience : Bachelors degree or equivalent. 1 3 years of related experience. Knowledge/Skill/Ability: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Attentiveness to detail. Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. Knowledge of tax and wage laws.
Preferred Qualifications
Five years of Payroll experience; Paycom experience; Accounting background; strong customer service skills
