Overview
As our highly visible Patient Service Specialist youll be patients first touch and are responsible for gathering important information for their visit and providing an exceptional patient experience.
*This per diem role is to cover employee leave additional details to be discussed*
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and visitors warmlyin person or by telephone
- Checkingpatients in and out
- Scheduling clinic and surgical appointments to include all preoperative and postoperative appointments
- Reviewing all paperwork with patients; consents for procedures
- Verifying insurance and collecting payments
- Maintaining patient medical records
Qualifications
- HighSchool Diploma or GED required
- Detail oriented reliable and able to multitask in a fastpaced highvolume work environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Medical Front Desk experiencepreferred
- Flexible schedule
- Dedicated to creating a quality patient experience
