Objective :
We require a seasoned Consulting leader with experience in one of physical trading/finance/derivatives/supply chain/Transportation domains. This role entails managing client stakeholders team leadership & complex product solutioning across a broad user group and supporting the project through to delivery.
Role – Functional Lead
Must have:
Excellent communication skills and experience of managing US/European stakeholders
Majority of experience should be on business consulting/product consulting in either of the following domains :
Physical Trading/Commodities Trading
Derivatives/Capital Markets
Supply Chain/Logistics/Freight Transportation
Strong experience in IT consulting and business analysis – business process definition requirements gathering Functional designs product solutioning proficiency in writing complex BRD FDD FSD and user stories
Strong ability to drive consulting engagements and lead mid to large consulting teams.
Managing client stakeholders with responsibilities including but not limited to plan timelines report progress and highlight risk areas.
Proven track record of resolving issues with business / with multiple teams involved on business and IT side
Strong Plus :
Detailed knowledge of trade life cycle in Commodity trading domain. (Energy Agri metals concentrates)
Broad exposure (deal-to-cash) and specialization in front office functions of Commodity Trading landscape – deal capture deal pricing Hedging PnL Valuation close of business Derivatives trade capture commodity contracts P&L Hedging Order Management OR
Broad exposure (deal-to-cash) and specialization in middle office functions of commodity Trading landscape – Middle Office (Logistics physical delivery inventory management procurement supply chain Storage transport invoicing)
Key Attitudes / Competencies:
Delivery focus and ability to communicate information clearly with internal and external stakeholders to clarify delivery requirements.
Strong foundational skills – written and oral business communication stakeholder management forward planning
Experience in one or more of the following context: software product development; business and technology transformation; agile methodology and tools like Confluence JIRA and TFS etc.
Demonstrated ability in planning consulting/functional work & ownership of project outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Deliver verbal responses and written documentation to support work stream and program office activity
Act as a key point of contact to the Business Transformation Services Business Analysis and Functional Architecture and Solution Architecture groups throughout the implementation.
Interface with business stakeholders to determine key design/process decisions and contribute to overall delivery plan.
Deliver assigned tasks complete and on time as designated by the Programme Office to ensure smooth progress of the implementation.
Contribute and take ownership for various project related tasks / planning activities as the programme evolves
Knowledge and Practical experience of Project Management methodologies – ability to configure delivery work stream frameworks to progress timelines and delivery milestones
