The Engineering Prototyping & Fabrication department is seeking a Lead Electrical Prototyping Technician to work in an engineering environment to codevelop engineering hardwarein accordance withcustomer and internal requirementsas well asindustry standards. Candidates will collaborate with multidisciplined design teams across multiple projects to bring design concepts to fruitionproviding rapid fabrication and prototyping solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle. The Lead Technician will assist in managing incoming work support work delegation provide guidance and training to peers and perform complex electrical assembly fabrication.
What You Will Do:
- Review highly complex designs to provide producibility recommendations to customers and/or team.
- Oversee workmanship traceability and paperwork of Electrical Fabricated Hardware.
- Provide labor estimates for incoming jobs (awareness of fabrication techniques).
- Determine required tooling and best practice.
- Provide training to engineering support technicians i.e. how to perform specific operations or training on shop best practices.
- Redline drawings to reflect asbuilt requirements.
- Lead an Electrical Fabrication team.
- Provide status updates to Section Lead Project Integrator and/or customers.
- Ensure Lab compliance including awareness of which certifications are required to complete specific operations.
- Provide surge work support flexible/complex tasks.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical drawings and/or schematics.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Effective interpersonal skills in order to develop rapport and build positive relationships with both internal and external customers
- Experience analyzing and interpreting schematics and drawings to identify producibility issues
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Adobe software including 3DPDFs
- Motivated selfstarter with the ability to use good judgement and to work independently or collaboratively in an engineering environment
- Associates degree in related field; OR military electronics or avionics training OR vocational or college program certificate
- Experience leading a team
- Ability to prioritize work understanding of schedule and budgets
- JSTD001 Solder certification
- IPC 610 & 620 Acceptability certifications
- Familiarity with Raytheon fabrication and quality standards documentation and practices
- Familiarity with RAPID

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
