SUMMARY: Can perform a variety of administrative functions. The individual should be familiar with and capable of using various types of office equipment. The Administrative Assistant is also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks as supervision deems necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer telephones screen and direct calls. Take and relay messages. Provide information to callers.
Greet and direct persons entering the organization.
Deal with questions from public and customers.
Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization.
Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness.
Provide current version of employment applications to applicants seeking employment.
Order office supplies as needed.
Tidy and maintain the reception area.
Monitor and maintain office equipment.
Provide general administrative and clerical support. Prepare correspondence and documents.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE): High school diploma or equivalent and six months to oneyear related experience.
