Job Description
Duties:
- Manage the preparation and timely submission of financial statements in accordance with IFRS 17 standards.
- Lead the monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring that financial records are accurate and compliant with all relevant regulations.
- Take ownership of the implementation of IFRS 17 across financial systems and processes.
- Conduct indepth financial analysis to assess the companys financial performance and provide strategic insights to senior management.
- Work closely with the actuarial and insurance teams to ensure the proper financial treatment of insurance contracts.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Qualifications:
- CA(SA) qualification is a must.
- Experience:
- Proven experience with IFRS 17 in an insurance or financial services context.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior financial management role with a strong focus on compliance reporting and financial strategy.
