Omnisent is pioneering scalable acoustic sensing powered by AI transforming audio into realtime intelligence.
We build hardware software tailored for acoustic data designed to extract insights from complex acoustic signals. Our proprietary ultralowpower sonic devices capture and process acoustic signals in realtime training what we call a Large Acoustic Model (LAM) our foundation model built to decode the rich messy and untapped world of nonspeech audio.
Were starting with the manufacturing industry applying our tech to compressed air systems one of the most overlooked sources of energy waste. From there were expanding into energy defense space and smart cities sectors where is the next frontier.
Tasks
Advanced Signal Processing
- Implement and optimize advanced noise reduction filtering and quantization techniques to enhance signal clarity.
- Extract meaningful statistical features from raw acoustic data to detect anomalies such as air leaks
- Research and test sound algorithms (e.g. radar time synchronisation) capable of localising characterising and detecting leaks and sensors in complex noisy industrial environments
- Research and test sound algorithms inspired by nondestructive testing techniques to infer physical properties from surrounding environments
Data Generation and Optimization:
- Develop compression algorithms and preprocessing techniques for efficient realtime data transmission on the edge
- Generate synthetic audio datasets by mixing real signals with noise to support robustness testing
