Job Description
We re partnering with a toptier multinational FMCG company renowned for its leading food and beverage brands. As part of their strategic evolution they re seeking a visionary and commercially astute Managing Director to lead the Nigerian business into its next phase of excellence and market dominance.
What Youll Do:
Strategic Leadership: Own the P&L and set the strategic direction for the Nigerian business ensuring consistent growth in revenue and market share.
Local : Transform global strategies into actionable local plans that yield measurable results in Nigeria s unique operating environment.
Team Building: Lead coach and inspire a highperforming team fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies partners and industry influencers while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Innovation & Operations: Drive product and channel innovation oversee endtoend operations and continually assess market trends to adapt strategy and maintain competitiveness.
Global Representation: Represent the Nigerian business at the global level advocating for local market insights and resources.
Requirements
Who You are:
A Leader with proven experience as a Managing Director General Manager Cluster Head or Regional Lead within a reputable FMCG organization is compulsory
Have 15 20 years of progressive leadership experience with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
Have a strong track record in delivering business results including P&L ownership turnaround experience or market expansion initiatives.
Deep understanding of the Nigerian and West African FMCG landscape.
Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing large teams and complex stakeholder relationships.
A blend of strategic vision and operational discipline within a global matrix environment.
MBA or equivalent is an added advantage.
