Job Description

Position Summary:

The Campus Director is responsible for the overall leadership and management of iSchool High ensuring a safe supportive and academically rigorous environment for students staff and the community. The principal will work collaboratively with teachers parents and the local community college to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

  • Fouryear degree from an accredited College or University (Masters Preferred)
  • Teaching certificate or school administrator certificate (preferred)

Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in an educational environment
  • 3 years of experience working with administrative leadership clients and/or stakeholders

and/or education personnel related to school improvement facilitation of learning or related

educational interests

  • 3 years of experience in supervising a staff of 5 or more
  • 3 years of experience in managing budgets

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Vision

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for the school that promotes academic success and a positive school culture.
  • Lead the school community in setting and achieving academic and operational goals.

Instructional Management

  • Oversee the development and implementation of the curriculum to ensure alignment with state standards and the needs of students.
  • Promote effective teaching strategies and professional development opportunities for staff.




Student Engagement and Support

  • Foster an inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.
  • Implement programs and initiatives that enhance student wellbeing engagement and achievement.

Staff Development

  • Recruit hire and mentor teaching and administrative staff.
  • Facilitate regular professional development opportunities and performance evaluations.

Community Relations

  • Build strong relationships with parents community members and local organizations to support school initiatives and student achievement.
  • Act as a liaison between the school district and the local community college

Administrative Duties

  • Manage the school budget and resources effectively to maximize student learning opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations and policies.

Safety and Discipline

  • Maintain a safe and orderly school environment.
  • Develop and enforce ResponsiveEd school policies regarding student behavior and discipline.
