Job Description
Partner Staffingis currently working with our client seeking a talented andmotivated Electrical Engineer to join our team in Calgary Alberta.
Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineer will beresponsible for designing developing and implementing electrical systems forutility power distribution and transmission projects. The successful candidatewill work closely with project managers other engineers and stakeholders toensure projects are completed efficiently safely and to the highest qualitystandards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Createdetailed electrical designs schematics and layouts for power distribution andtransmission systems. Ensure designs comply with industry standards and clientspecifications.
Project : Support theexecution of electrical projects including preparing technical specificationsconducting feasibility studies and performing electrical calculations.
Technical Support: Provide technicalexpertise and support to project teams during the construction installationand commissioning phases. Resolve technical issues and ensure projectmilestones are met.
Quality Assurance: Conduct qualityassurance and quality control reviews of electrical designs and all work meets regulatory and safety standards.
Documentation: Prepare and maintaincomprehensive project documentation including design reports technicaldrawings and test reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up todate.
Collaboration: Work collaborativelywith multidisciplinary teams including civil mechanical and environmentalengineers. Communicate effectively with clients contractors and regulatoryauthorities.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in ElectricalEngineering or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience inelectrical engineering within the utilities power distribution andtransmission sector.
Experience with largescale powerdistribution and transmission projects.
