Youll be part of our notforprofit Child Care Services known for exceeding or meeting national quality education standards. Multiple positions are available across our services in the Penrith LGA!
Your day will involve
- Lead and inspire young learners in a supportive and inclusive environment
- Design and implement engaging educational programs that foster childrens development
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators to create enriching learning experiences
- Build meaningful relationships with children families and colleagues
- Ensure the highest standards of safety wellbeing and quality education for all children in your care
What are we looking for
- Completion of a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or other equivalent qualification
- NESA Accreditation
- Experience supervising and interacting with children 012 years old
- Working with children check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid Certificate with Asthma and Anaphylaxis and CPR (HLTAID004 / HLTA012
- Ability to follow safeguarding priorities
- Team player contributing and upholding organisational values
- Ability to work under pressure prioritise tasks to get things done efficiently
- Available to work between 6.30am 6pm

Commencing salary:$80913.00 $93661.00 11.5 superannuation

This position has been identified as a ChildRelated position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.

You will be required to undertake employment checks which may include a Criminal History Check Qualification Check Working with Children Check Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council for review in order to progress through the recruitment process.
