Immediate Interviewing: Special Educator (LBS1 Certification)

Position Overview:

Regularly assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
Maintain clear behavioral expectations to ensure a safe and productive classroom.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth.
Collaborate with classroom teachers specialists and families to support student success.
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that align with school and state standards.
Provide targeted instruction in smallgroup or oneonone settings to meet diverse learning needs.

Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a comparable role with specialized knowledge in managing early childhood caseloads. A bachelor s degree from an accredited institution is a requirement with preference given to candidates holding a master s degree. Eligibility for this role mandates an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a special education (LSB1) endorsement as alternative certifications will not be considered.
