Job Description
At Clarifi Staffing Solutions were seeking a compassionate and driven Special Education Instructor with LBS1 certification to join a dynamic educational team for theschool year. In this fulltime role you ll empower young learners with exceptional needs helping them reach academic and developmental milestones in a supportive and inclusive environment.
This role requires a collaborative professional who can partner with parents caregivers and staff to create comprehensive educational approaches that meet each students distinct challenges. The LBS1 Specialist will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address the unique learning needs of students.
Role at a Glance:
- Promoting positive behavior in the classroom through effective reinforcement strategies.
- Modifying and implementing lesson plans to meet the unique learning needs of each student.
- Creating a classroom atmosphere that is secure inclusive and encourages active participation.
- Delivering instruction in essential academic subjects while nurturing growth in social and life skills.
- Establishing open and consistent communication with parents and caregivers to discuss progress and set goals.
- Regularly monitoring student development keeping thorough documentation and adjusting teaching approaches to improve outcomes.
Requirements
Valid Illinois Teaching K12 Certification is required along with a Bachelor s Degree in Special Education or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a background in supporting children with diverse disabilities and a demonstrated history of success as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar role.
