Technical Program Director

Location: Mason OH. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health PulsePoint location in Mason OH.

The Technical Program Director will provide leadership for multiple large/strategic enterprisewide programs made up of multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Delivery Manager with a proven track record of leading crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality programs on time and within budget. They will manage projects of at least $20M in size or equal complexity.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project and program plans.
  • Manage risks and dependencies to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Utilize Agile Scrum Kanban and SAFe methodologies to drive program improvements.
  • Lead efforts to enhance program timelines and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Employ Tableau development and data analysis skills to create insightful visualizations.
  • Consolidate data from diverse databases for meaningful analysis.
  • Champion continuous growth innovation and workflow optimization to maximize value delivery.
  • Provide strategic direction for developing enterprise project plans specifying goals strategy staffing scheduling identification of risk contingency plan and allocation of resources.
  • Provides expert knowledge of project management methodology approaches techniques and tools to senior management.
  • Directs system analysts software designers and programmers to determine best methods to achieve project objectives.
  • Coaches and mentors project team members; mentors other project managers around project management methodology; determines project scope.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 15 years of enterprise project management experience in broadbased information systems managing increasing project size and complexity that are transformational in nature for the organization full lifecycle application development and/or building enterprise applications; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:

  • 5 years of experience in a delivery management role leading multifunctional teams strongly preferred.
  • Project management certification (PMP) strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Tableau and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to create insightful visualizations by consolidating data from diverse databases.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing project and program plans.
  • Skilled in risk management and dependency tracking.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in Agile Scrum Kanban and SAFe methodologies.
  • Experience in improving program timelines and customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex technical programs.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring project team members.
