Position Summary:
The School Social Worker works with a multidisciplinary team to build andmaintain a cohesive caring and inclusive school community with tiered support for addressingbehavioral and mental health needs. This position requires the monitoring of student data toidentify social behavioral and mental health support needed to eliminate barriers to learningand enhance the academic success of students. The School Social Worker assists students andtheir families to connect with resources inside and outside the school to meet their uniqueneeds. This licensedeligible professional is available to provide shortterm individual and grouptherapy while also offering support to school staff in enhancing their effectiveness in workingwith the student population.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Masters degree in Social Work Counseling or related field
Specialized Knowledge Licenses etc.:
Oklahoma licensure or under supervision for licensure as one of the following:
o Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
o Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
o Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
o Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
o Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
