Job Description

At Vicoland we give the professional services market a new dimension: Virtual Companies in short: Vicos. We invented Vicos as a new type of supplier more efficient than traditional professional services firms (consultancies system integrators agencies etc.. Enabled through our unique AIdriven SaaS platform Vicos allow freelance experts to team up and act like a real company competing successfully for large enterprise projects.

Our Vicos are already transforming how professional services projects are done. Since our launch 1.5 years ago Vicos won projects from large corporate clients such as MercedesBenz Netflix or the German Federal Government as well as from many midsized businesses. Vicoland was mentioned by Forbes and Forrester as a leading force in the market.

Our SaaS platform is an integrated solution of marketing organizational legal and financial tech. It includes a marketplace that matches clients and Vicos. It is integrated into the worlds leading procurement software provided by one of our partners SAP.

There are already over 400 Vicos on our platform uniting thousands of freelancers. Our central team has 40 members and is located across Europe expanding to the US. Our headquarters are in Frankfurt/Main.

Our offer to you

Our quest to transform our multitrillion industry brings constant strategic challenges. Currently the two most important ones are: (A) establish AI agents as a new type of Vico member and (B) introducing a model for leaders from the professional services industry to found Vicos. Living up to these and other strategic challenges will involve partnerships in our industry as well outside e. g. with technology companies academia or financial institutions.

As Director Strategy & Partnerships you will have a key role directly working with and reporting to our CEO. You will take responsibility in developing up and implementing our strategy and partnerships endtoend. This will also make you a key changemaker and entrepreneurial force in the professional services industry.

Aufgaben

  • Take over on the fly our ongoing project for incorporating AI agents into our Vicos and business model (our platform already contains many AI functionalities but this is a new dimension).
  • Launch and implement a new program already being developed for top leaders from established professional services firms to found and run Vicos.
  • Grow our business development partnerships starting with the ones we have and then going beyond e. g. with MSPs (you will have to learn what an MSP is we also had to).
  • Scout win and bootstrap partnerships allowing us to enhance our addon services e. g. in the financial sector (insurance factoring) or in technology (e. g. license business).
  • Together with all divisions of our company design processes and as this is a tech business conceive platform features enabling efficient operations of partnerships.
  • Contribute at top management level to the strategic planning and decision making for our company.
  • Be an innovator inputting ideas and concrete proposals to constantly improve what we do and how we do it.

Qualifikation

  • Professional experience requiring top qualities be it via employment own entrepreneurial initiative or internships of 2 years. Ideally this experience is in professional services (e. g. consulting legal finance) and somehow related to technology including AI.
  • Entrepreneurship were growing fast and so will you. You must be a fast learner and keen to work on new challenges every day.
  • University degree with very good results.
  • Experience with intensive usage of AI tools and interest in the evolution of AI.
  • Excellent communication skills you will have to interact with a lot of people daily. You easily pick up the phone and talk to someone.
  • Strong team spirit and capability to interact internally and externally with different people spanning the tech sales services and financial spheres.
  • Excellent judgment in evaluating people and organizations for their strengths and weaknesses as well as our strategic fit with them.
  • Excellent German and English (DACH is still our home market while we expand abroad).
