APP DEV SENIOR ANALYST (BAND 3
We are looking for a passionate Trailblazer (aka Salesforce Developer) to join our Technology team supporting the Global Health Benefits Sales business unit in Cignas International Markets.
The Salesforce App Development Lead Analyst will work on an Agile scrum team and will be responsible for managing assigned work requests throughout the SDLC building customized solutions using Salesforce declarative tools custom code and AppExchange products. The candidate will require an understanding of business processes related to the CGHB Sales Cloud application as well as strong technical and communication skills to interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to develop and enhance the system accordingly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design develop test and deploy Visualforce Apex LWC Java AJAX JavaScript CSS and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions
- Contribute to team processes by participating in team activities such as estimation collaboration in requirements definition code reviews and contribution of feedback during retrospectives
- Support all technical aspects of Salesforce including data migrations data quality systems integrations 3rd party applications AppExchange products and custom code
- Support the organizations utilization of SFDC to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support scaling at a rapid pace
- Support the global Salesforce team with additional projects as needed
- Maintain Salesforce certifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years previous development experience with Salesforce
- Salesforce Platform App Builder and Developer 1 Certifications preferred
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce architecture and API
- Experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers
- Working proficiency in HTML XML Flex JavaScript ASP SQL Java or C HTTP/REST and SOAPbased web services
- Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader Excel Connector DemandTools Eclipse Force IDE) and other development tools including Informatica
- Strong understanding of relational databases
- Demonstrable success with multiple Salesforce integration projects
- Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications via realtime batch sync/async
- Experience with scripted data loader web services cloud or onpremise middleware and other enterprise integrating technologies
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong business analysis and functional experience including requirements gathering creating/deploying solutions to end users
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Experience with Copado DevOps preferred
