Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to lead the development and administration of our Salesforce deployment for Professional Services Automation. In this critical role you will enhance our Salesforce platforms performance ensure its optimal function and promote user adoption and satisfaction.

As a Salesforce Administrator you will work closely with functional leaders organisational units and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy business processes. You will be responsible for daytoday configuration support maintenance and improvement of our Salesforce platform. You will also play a key role in ensuring that all supported applications and integrations are available 24/7 to all users.

You will be recognised as a respected and proactive Subject Matter Expert specialising in the Salesforce/Certinia platform providing continuity of service meeting SLAs and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce/Certinia environment to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
  • Oversee a range of administrative functions including user account maintenance creating and managing reports and dashboards optimising workflows and performing routine system tasks.
  • Conduct regular internal system audits to maintain system integrity and prepare for system releases and updates.
  • Manage and maintain Salesforce data feeds and integrations to support seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Monitor the usage and adoption of Salesforce across the organisation generating reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate scope and implement new development or configuration requests to enhance the Salesforce platforms functionality.
  • Research assess and communicate new features from Salesforce releases to ensure the platform remains current and meets the organisations needs.
  • Collaborate with management to establish effective processes for administrative development and change management activities.
  • Provide training to new users and continuously develop the Salesforce skill set within the organisation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between users managed package vendors and the application development team to ensure clear communication and efficient resolution of issues.
  • Work independently with user community members to capture and document development requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator in a dynamic fastchanging environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce Lightning Experience is preferred.
  • Good awareness of the Salesforce ecosystem including community groups and associated technologies.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
  • Experience with thirdparty applications including managed packages is preferred.
  • Knowledge or experience with Professional Services Automation particularly Certinia (FinancialForce) is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Excellent collaboration skills and a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines handle and prioritise simultaneous requests and manage both laterally and upwards.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform with the ability to build custom apps and objects formula fields workflows custom views and other content of intermediate complexity.
  • Ability to perform data cleansing and mass updates efficiently.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practises and functionalities.
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources reconcile conflicts decompose highlevel information into details and abstract up from lowlevel information to a general understanding.
  • Strong attention to detail and highquality expectations.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all associated applications systems and processes.

Qualifications :

  • Salesforce Admin ADM/X201 certification is required.
  • Salesforce Advanced Admin ADM/X 211 and/or Platform App Builder DEX403 certifications are advantageous.
  • Service/Sales/Marketing Cloud certifications are advantageous.
