The role involves generating advertising revenue by building and maintaining relationships with clients both established and new and leveraging digital and television advertising solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Revenue Generation: Build and grow revenue by contacting existing clients and pursuing new prospects.
- Advertising Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to exceed revenue goals leveraging both traditional and digital advertising.
- Client Relationships: Establish strong longlasting relationships with the local business community.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Conduct sales calls prepare and deliver presentations and explain the benefits of advertising solutions to clients.
- Ad Development & Placement: Collaborate with clients and station personnel to create effective advertising strategies schedules and content.
Requirements & Skills:
- Education: A bachelors degree in marketing Advertising Mass Communications or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Prior experience in sales preferably in advertising is often beneficial.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using computer software like Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Drivers License: A valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
