4.1 Position Title

Senior Engineer Customer Service

4.2 Position reports to

General Manager Customer Service

Primary Objective

A Customer Service Sr. Engineer must have a qualified Diploma/ bachelors degree or equivalent technical qualifications in mechanical engineering. Experience of Gear box overhauling (Flender/Renk/Shanthi gears/Triveni/Helicon/Precision Gears/Powder built gears) is preferred. The position also requires experience in rotating equipment but also interested in Extruder Maintenance Blower Compressor Dryers.

4.4 Specific activities

  • Gearbox or rotating equipment specialists

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Resolving client problems and relating to customers
  • Monitoring customer accounts
  • Time management specially to meet deadlines

Main Role & Responsibilities

Provide onsite installation validation and commissioning of Equipments like extruders and PCS systems. Perform handsonsite troubleshooting Service and repairs. Perform both product service and development responsibilities. Provide high level technical support to external customers at their location Provide Onsite training to the customers. Work in india and if required travel all over world for Extruder overhauling jobs. We will involve to Service group based in Coperion Stuttgart Germany. Interface with cross functional work team such as field applications customer support/services product management and marketing /sales. Develop Service technical documentation. Create and maintain service information in the company database as per visit reports protocol. Timely and professionally handle field service calls and issues arising from the field service visits. Commutate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions. Misc. other duties commensurate with the capabilities of a Customer Service Engineer or as per Service Department Requirement.
