We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer specialized in Green Ammonia Technology to join our newly created and fast-growing Track and Services Division. This unit focuses on delivering high-value engineering solutions for the steel industry with a strong commitment to energy transition and a low-carbon economy.

Role purpose:
The selected professional will lead the development and optimization of green ammonia production processes integrating advanced technologies and renewable energy sources to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Location:

Madrid Spain

Work Modality:

Hybrid work model: two days of remote work per week. Flexible working hours and intensive workday schedule during the summer months.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and optimize industrial processes for green ammonia production ensuring technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness.

Lead projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact from concept to FEED stages.

Apply in-depth knowledge of electrochemical processes renewable energy integration and process simulation.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations sustainability guidelines and environmental standards.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (engineering R&D sustainability).

Mentor junior engineers and promote technical knowledge transfer across the team.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Process Engineering Environmental Engineering or related disciplines. Postgraduate studies will be a plus.

At least 10 years of experience in process engineering with proven involvement in green ammonia hydrogen or related decarbonization projects.

Demonstrated experience in conceptual studies process design and FEED development.

Strong command of process simulation tools (e.g. Aspen HYSYS Aspen Plus ProSim) and energy integration tools.

Project leadership skills and international experience will be highly valued.

Minimum English level: B2 (mandatory). A technical English test will be conducted and interviews will be held in English.
