Job Description

Join our team as a Pre-Sales Engineer in Spain and support the local Sales team by providing technical expertise and demonstrations that showcase the value of our healthcare communication solutions. This role is essential in guiding customers through the technical side of our offerings ensuring the right fit and long-term success.

Your Contributions

  • Work closely with the Sales Team and resellers to provide internal and external technical support and expert training during pre- and post-sales stages
    • Prepare technical details and engineering requirements for quotations
    • Contribute to marketing planning and the technical development of products and services
    • Deliver specifications and documentation for engineering and architectural firms
      Coordinate technical proposals and customer-specific requirements across multiple levels
    • Analyze and prepare quotations and tailored solution proposals
    • Support the Sales Team in expanding the customer pipeline
    • Provide early feedback to Product Managers on customer needs and new market trends
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological developments
    • Provide remote and on-site technical support as needed
    • Drive ongoing process improvement across technical presales activities
    • Ensure continuous improvement actions are taken in response to customer issues or process gaps
    • Comply with all health safety and environmental regulations applicable to the role

      The Ideal Candidate

      Qualifications & Experience

      • Associate degree or 15 years of experience with Ascom products or similar
      • IT/telecom/wireless technologies (e.g. DECT 802.11)
      • Entry-level wireless (CWNA) or networking certifications (CCNA) are a plus
      • 15 years of customer support experience via phone email and web-based systems
      • 15 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server telecom systems (Cisco Avaya) or networking hardware

        Skills & Competencies

        • Strong technical knowledge: networking (TCP/IP) wireless telephony
        • Proficiency with Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems
        • Solid understanding of Ascoms solution portfolio (preferred)
        • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
        • Ability to troubleshoot problem-solve and work independently with minimal supervision
        • Strong customer orientation and team collaboration
        • Fluent English required
